The OIAA Georgian Bay Chapter is excited to announce our first dinner meeting of the 2023/2024 year featuring Ben Fanelli and the Heroic minds story!
At 16 years old Ben Fanelli was chasing his dream of playing in the NHL when he woke up in the hospital to news that sports, school and life as he knew it would never return. On top of that he was told there were three bleeds in his brain. Against all odds, Ben returned to play for the Kitchener Rangers in the OHL, captain his team in his final season, won CHL’s humanitarian of the year and attended camp with the New York Rangers (NHL).
Ben shares how the framework of heroism is not only an antidote to mental distress, it is also a framework that throughout history has allowed people to reach peak performance.
Ben leverages story-telling, research and client anecdotes to deliver an engaging presentation that will be sure to leave you with actionable takeaways to instantly apply to your life.

Time: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm (social hour; 4 – 5pm, speaker; 5 – 6pm, dinner; 6 – 7pm)

Cost: $56.50 (includes 3 course dinner)
